How It Works
There are two ways to access nutrition services:
-
Nutrition services may be covered by your health insurance depending on your plan, diagnosis, and benefits.
Currently in-network with Aetna and UnitedHealthcare. Additional plans are being added as credentialing is completed.
Coverage and eligibility vary by insurance plan and diagnosis.
Some plans may require a physician referral or other authorization.
Benefits will be verified before your first appointment whenever possible.
You are responsible for understanding your plan's coverage and any applicable cost-sharing.
-
Private-pay appointments are available for individuals who prefer to access care outside of their insurance benefits or whose services are not covered by their plan
No referral required
Flexible scheduling
Individualized, ongoing support
What to Expect
-
A comprehensive nutrition assessment including medical history, current concerns, and goal setting.
-
Evidence-based recommendations tailored to your medical needs, preferences, and daily life.
-
Follow-up visits to assess progress, adjust recommendations, address barriers, and support long-term behavior change.
Pricing
-
I currently am accepting Aetna and United Healthcare insurance plans.
Insurance-based visits are no longer than 60 minutes and focused on specific concerns, preventive care, and ongoing medical management.
Your insurance plan determines whether out-of-network reimbursement is available.
Coverage and out-of-pocket costs will vary based on your individual plan.
-
For individuals seeking more in-depth, personalized care, private pay options allow for longer visits and a more comprehensive approach.
